A Bloggy Funk and Prayers for Haiti

Ok, so I realize it has been a week or so since I posted last. Truth is, I can't think of anything to write. Well, there is plenty, but where do I start? Aside from the randomness that floats throughout my head, I kind of feel like there are more important things going on in the world than the funny little thing Jay said, or the fact that I had the flu and felt like I was dying, or Jenna's sassy new attitude, or AJ's "I am 8, and almost a grown-up" attitude he has recently found.

So in a nut shell that's all that is going on with us.

I will encourage anyone who has the capacity to donate anything, your time or your money to one of the very reputable charities that is helping Haiti. Find out the company you work for is matching employee donations, mine is. Here is a short list to start you out:) I have no words for how I feel when I read about the people in Haiti, the turmoil they have lived with their whole lives, and the devastation that is facing them today. I feel like I have not written enough, but honestly, I still can't piece it all together in my head enough to make a cohesive thought on it all. i just know that often times I just sit in front of the TV and cry. I truly could not imagine what that would be like. I am amazed at the strength that so many of the Haitians have, their faith that has gotten them trough days of little to no water, food, and medical attention. I say a prayer everyday for the people who still have not been found, the people who will not see their loved ones alive again, and I know that there are people still who will be reunited with their families.
